The climate in Oakville is unique to other Napa AVAs due to its mid-valley positioning. Southern enough to attract morning fog from San Pablo Bay, yet far north enough to bask in the warm afternoon sunlight. Avery Rose's 'Six Acre Vineyard' is coming from the O'Shaughnessy Vineyard site on Oakville Cross Road, flanked by PlumpJack on its right and Groth Reserve Blocks on the left.

Mother Nature was very kind to us in 2014. While yields continued to be lower due to drought conditions, the fruit was spectacular. It has quintessential Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics, with a lush blend of red/black fruit and an optimum balance of acidity to tannin.
